The Easter Season marked a mile stone for us in worship. It was such a blessing to have a
number of congregation voices join the choir and orchestra for the Palm Sunday Musical
Celebration. I believe you genuinely enjoyed the experience. I know I did! In August I'll let
everyone know about our Christmas worship projects. Meanwhile, please know you are welcome
any time and all the time.

Our Chime Choir finished the school year in a most positive way. After attending the Young
Ringer Festival in Mobile, back in February, our last three weeks together we played for local
nursing/rehab facilities. These kids were great, and well-appreciated! Hope the church family
enjoyed their final performance during the coffee break on May 22. I look forward to our
organizing again in the fall.

Youth Choir goes on tour this month. We will sing for retirement communities and churches
along I-85 between home and Washington, D.C. We will spend June 23rd walking the mall and
reflecting on our country's God-directed history. We have a few singers joining us from
Niceville UMC. Please pray for safe travels and hospitality along the way. This project amazes
me each year. A great deal of ministry happens merely through the planning. As we reach out to
make contact with communities, they are shocked that anyone remembers them. Administrators
and Activity Directors literally sob over the phone because we found/remembered their little
community. The arrival and music is simply "icing on the cake!" Our youth will return with life
-changing stories...

Pray for our Worship Teams over the summer as we meet to plan and rehearse for leading in
worship. Enjoy your summer. But, please remember our church.
